About Mrs L

http://www.missmarples.co.uk/author/mrsl

My name is Mrs L. I drink too much coffee. I daydream. I think in colours and pictures and fuzz. My mind is fast and full of ideas that I can only extract when I feel outrageously fabulous or when I have consumed several glasses of wine. My sleep is restless. My dreams are vivid and wild. I am impulsive. I work hard. I love life. I run three miles, five days a week. I meditate daily. I am a self-employed photographer because I love art and because I cannot work for other people. I love my family. I adore my friends. I am irritable and I want everything to be done... right now!!

From our first meeting in their home, I cannot help but embrace the individual characteristics(…)

PMT and Me

PMT and Me

The alarm clock sounds with the kind of shriek that makes me want to pick the thing up and throw it through the window to teach it a callous yet necessary lesson. I awake in my bed, fully dressed in yesterday‚Äôs clothes, which serves me with a dual bonus. Not only did I save myself(…)

Amazing ADHD

Amazing ADHD

Finding out that I had this baby growing inside me filled me with curiosity and excitement. The urge to protect it was immense. I did not smoke or drink. I considered myself to be making a fantastic start at parenthood. But I was blissfully innocent to the challenges that I faced ahead. So naive was(…)
